102 - "Hatchet" (2006)

Today Dustin & Cameron are taking a trip down to the New Orleans Bayou as they break down 2006's new-age cult classic slasher, "Hatchet" starring horror legend Kane Hodder as Victor Crowley. The guys try to figure out what makes this throwback slasher movie stand out from a sea of other blood-soaked slashers. From there they go through everything from Perry Shen's tour de force performance as Shawn the Swamp Tour Guide and what it must be like to make a movie like this, to the thankless job of being a hulking movie monster and what made this movie successful enough to spawn three sequels.

They go through how ridiculous the idea is while Dustin tries to figure out if Sandler is setting up his movies to all be a shared cinematic universe. 100 - "V/H/S", "Trick 'r Treat", & Horror Anthology Movies

Today, Cameron & Dustin are coming together to try and figure out why there aren't more horror anthology movies. Dustin tries to go through the traits & trademarks that often make them so entertaining to him while Cameron explains his reasoning behind disliking almost all the horror anthology movies he's seen, especially 'Trick 'r Treat". From there, they attempt to figure out what the need for an anthology movie is for today's audience and work to decide what would be the best lineup of horror directors working today for an anthology movie.

098 - "Silent Hill" (2006)

Today, Cameron & Dustin are taking a trip down to "Silent Hill" in an attempt to figure out everything going on in the 2006 film adaptation of the beloved survival-horror video game series. They try to go through their pros & cons of the movie from effective fixed camera shots & other methods to reproduce the experience of playing the game to poor acting that threatens to ruin the whole thing before it even begins. From there they work to determine where "Silent Hill" sits on the all-time list of video game adaptations and what they would like to see from a film reboot for the franchise.

097 - "Ghost Adventures"

Today, there are things in this world that Cameron & Dustin will never fully understand. They want answers so they are turning to the experts on the Travel Channel's long-running hit show, "Ghost Adventures". From breaking down the show's evolution through the years and tracking Zak Bagan's ever-changing wardrobe, the guys are trying to figure out what makes this show so watchable despite having the same structure for most episodes & seemingly easily debunked occurrences. To round it out, Cameron then also launches into various memories of supernatural experiences of his own.

"Ghost Adventures" has been on since 2008 and has 23+ seasons. If you've somehow missed out, this month is the perfect time to step into a dark room, activate your EMF meter, and tell a ghost to stop being a coward & show itself.
